Day 1: Friday — Arrive, Explore, Go Out

Morning / Afternoon

Drop your bags and head straight to Piața Unirii. Spend an hour just walking around — the scale and beauty of the Art Nouveau buildings is genuinely jaw-dropping. Pop into the Black Eagle Palace and walk through its stunning arcade.

From there, stroll down Strada Republicii (the pedestrian zone) towards the train station. Every block has something interesting — cafés, boutiques, street musicians. Stop for lunch at one of the terraces.

Late Afternoon

Head to Băile Felix (15 minutes by bus or Uber). This is Europe's largest natural thermal pool complex — and it's spectacularly cheap. Spend 2–3 hours soaking before heading back to the city.

Evening — The Bar Crawl

Friday is one of our big nights. Meet at Teatrul Regina Maria at 21:00 and join the Oradea Bar Crawl. You'll visit 4–5 venues, get welcome shots, meet a mix of locals and travellers, and experience the city's nightlife at its best. The night typically wraps around 01:30–02:00.

Day 2: Saturday — Culture, Food & Round Two

Morning

Slow start — you earned it. Try one of the city's excellent brunch spots near Piața Unirii. The coffee culture here rivals Budapest.

Afternoon

Visit Oradea Fortress (Cetatea Oradea) — currently being beautifully restored. Then explore the Crișana Museum and the Moon Church (one of Europe's few rotating churches).

Evening

Saturday night, round two. The city is at its most electric. If you're up for it — join the bar crawl again. The venues rotate slightly so you'll discover new spots.
